Rowindy Lawrence Odong advocates the right of women and children

MEMBAKUT: United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation ( UPKO) Candidate for Membakut Rowindy Lawrence Odong continued her visit in this constituency today.

Her grassroots outreach allowed her to visit several households in Kg Paung, Kg Tamalang Kg Sinuko and Kg Poring.

The visit was part of her initiative to strengthen community engagement and address pressing local concerns directly with residents.

In addition to the door-to-door activities, Rowindy also held a ceramah (public talk) in Kampung Poring, where she met with villagers to discuss issues affecting women, children and families.

The session saw active participation from local residents who raised matters relating to welfare, development and community wellbeing.

Speaking during the event, Rowindy reaffirmed her commitment to championing the rights and welfare of women and children, noting that their wellbeing remains central to her advocacy efforts.

Residents welcomed the visit, as it was a meaningful opportunity for direct dialogue and better understanding of community needs.
