STPM 2024: 1,266 calon peroleh PNGK 4.00

KUALA LUMPUR: Seramai 1,266 calon atau 3.06 peratus daripada keseluruhan calon Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2024 berjaya memperoleh Purata Nilai Gred Kumulatif (PNGK) 4.00.
Pengerusi Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia (MPM) Prof Datuk Dr Md Amin Md Taff berkata, jumlah itu mencatatkan peningkatan seramai 150 calon berbanding tahun sebelumnya.
Selain itu, katanya, PNGK bagi STPM tahun 2024 meningkat 0.01 mata kepada 2.85 berbanding tahun 2023, sekali gus tertinggi sejak peperiksaan itu dilaksanakan.
“Dari segi pencapaian PNGK calon, secara keseluruhannya didapati bilangan longgokan dan peratusan longgokan calon STPM 2024 pada PNGK 3.75, PNGK 3.00, PNGK 2.75 dan PNGK 2.00 meningkat berbanding 2023,” katanya ketika Pengumuman Keputusan Peperiksaan STPM Tahun 2024, di sini, hari ini.
Menurutnya, bilangan calon yang mendapat 5A dalam kelima-lima mata pelajaran diambil meningkat kepada 53 calon, berbanding 41 calon pada STPM 2023.
Manakala, calon yang mendapat 4A turut bertambah daripada 1,087 pada 2023 kepada 1,228 calon.
"Peratusan calon STPM 2024 yang mendapat lulus penuh dalam lima dan empat mata pelajaran berbanding SPM 2023 meningkat sedikit sebanyak 0.70 pratus atau 201 calon iaitu daripada 75.85 peratus atau 31,516 calon pada 2023 kepada 76.55 peratus atau 31,717 calon pada 2024," katanya.
Md Amin berkata, daripada keseluruhan 41,434 calon yang hadir menduduki peperiksaan, seramai 41,422 calon atau 99.97 peratus layak dianugerahkan sijil STPM 2024.
Secara keseluruhan, katanya, kesemua 23 mata pelajaran yang ditawarkan peperiksaan STPM tahun lalu mencatat peratusan lulus penuh melebihi 60 peratus iaitu gred C dan ke atas.
“Empat mata pelajaran iaitu Ekonomi, Kimia, Matematik dan Perakaunan menunjukkan peningkatan melebihi tiga peratus dari segi lulus penuh berbanding prestasi pada 2023.
“Prestasi 19 mata pelajaran lain tidak berubah kerana beza peratusan calon yang lulus penuh antara tahun 2024 dengan tahun sebelumnya adalah kurang daripada tiga peratus,” katanya.
Keputusan STPM 2024 dikeluarkan hari ini bermula jam 11.30 pagi melalui platform dalam talian di pautan http://stpm.mpm.edu.my/stpmK atau melalui sistem pesanan ringkas (SMS).
