KOTA KINABALU: Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) is set to bring its AI MyMahir (JAM) Roadshow to Kota Kinabalu this Friday, 26 September, giving the local community a hands-on opportunity to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI).
The one-day roadshow will run from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), with free admission. Seats are limited to 200 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration can be made online at https://talentcorp.my/Register-JAM-KK. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops or mobile devices to maximise their learning experience.
The AI MyMahir Roadshow aims to demystify AI for the public, while also providing training and upskilling opportunities in this rapidly advancing field. It offers participants a pathway towards foundational AI certification, equipping Malaysians with the digital skills essential for competitiveness and employability in today’s evolving economy.
Highlights of the programme include live AI demonstrations, interactive activities, knowledge-sharing sessions, an expert Q&A, and certificates of participation for all attendees.
Spearheaded by the Ministry of Human Resources through TalentCorp, the initiative underscores the MADANI Government’s commitment to driving Malaysia’s digitalisation agenda and strengthening national digital readiness.
Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities and Kota Kinabalu MP, Datuk Chan Foong Hin, voiced strong support for the event, describing it as an important platform for equipping the community with future-ready skills.
“I am proud to support this collaborative effort to prepare our community with digital skills for the future. I encourage students, professionals, and the wider public to take this opportunity to explore AI’s potential and play their part in building a more innovative and competitive Malaysia,” he said.
