The Rise of the Rhinos season’s kit

KOTA KINABALU: Adidas and Sabah FC today launched the club’s official 2025/26 season kits at the “The Rise of the Rhinos” event at Suria Sabah. This partnership marks a historic milestone as Sabah FC becomes the first Malaysian football club to be sponsored by adidas this season, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to supporting the growth of local football.

The new kits blend tradition with modern performance design. The Home jersey debuts in bold red, symbolising passion and pride, while the Away jersey comes in a striking blue, representing strength and unity. Both jerseys carry a sleek, minimalist look with the iconic Sabah FC crest, a proud nod to the club’s identity.

“Malaysia has incredible football potential, and adidas is proud to invest in the local game by partnering with Sabah FC,” said Preston Page, Country Manager, adidas Malaysia. “Coming off a remarkable 3rd place finish in the Malaysia Super League last season, Sabah FC has proven itself as one of the most exciting and competitive teams in the country. Through this partnership, we aim to create shared moments, memorable experiences, and inspire the next generation of footballers across Malaysia,” he added.

Adding to this, Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya, Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah, Minister of Works and President of Sabah FA said, “This partnership proves the confidence of a global brand such as adidas in Sabah FC as one of the biggest clubs in Malaysia. It is not just a belief in the team’s achievements on the field, but also recognition of the club’s management, which continues to improve.”

Following the official kit launch, fans were treated to a Meet & Greet session with Sabah FC players at Sportmart Suria Sabah. Supporters had the chance to connect with their local football heroes, take photos and get jerseys signed, creating a unique moment that brought the team and community closer together ahead of the new season.

The 2025/26 Sabah FC Home and Away jerseys retail at RM169 and are now available at: adidas, Imago Shopping Mall KK, adidas, Suria Sabah, Ararat Alamesra, Ararat Keningau, Sportmart Api-api, Sportmart Imago, Sportmart Labuan, Sportmart Sandakan, Sportmart Suria, Sportmart Tawau and Sportmart Tawau 2.
