Two 1,100-Gallon Tanks Donated to Support Over 600 Kampung Luboh Residents

SANDAKAN: Problems faced by the people will not be ignored but addressed with concrete action.

This was evident when the Sungai Manila Division Chief of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan), Hazem Mubarak Tun Musa, came forward to assist the residents of Kampung Luboh near here by donating two water tanks, each with a capacity of 1,100 gallons.

The tanks are expected to help alleviate the village’s long-standing water supply issues.

The village, home to around 100 households with more than 600 residents, had previously relied almost entirely on rainwater due to water rationing.

Hazem expressed hope that the contribution of the two tanks would, at the very least, ease the burden of the villagers and provide them with more reliable access to clean water.

An engineer from the Water Department was also present at the handover ceremony.
