KOTA KINABALU: The Volvo EX90 and XC90, heralded as the future of driving, have been unveiled here.

“The EX90 is more than our first fully electric flagship SUV — it represents a bold leap into intelligent mobility.

“Equipped with cutting-edge safety systems, LiDAR technology, over-the-air updates, and a fully electric powertrain, it is the most advanced Volvo we have ever created,” stated Henry Phoong, Head of Sales at Sebangga Group Sabah.

He described the EX90 as a smart, safe, and sustainable vehicle of the future, crafted today.

The XC90, meanwhile, remains an enduring icon — elegant, powerful, and trusted by families across generations. It embodies a seamless blend of legacy and modern innovation, he added.

Phoong also announced that they are now the official Volvo dealership for East Malaysia, covering both Sabah and Sarawak.

This marks a significant step in expanding Volvo’s presence and commitment across the region, he explained.
