11 localities in Sabah under EMCO starting Aug 12

KOTA KINABALU: A total of eleven localities in Sabah will be placed under a 14-day enhanced movement control order (EMCO) starting this Thursday (August 12).
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said in Kota Kinabalu, the localities involved are Kuarters Kilang J&L, Jalan Kokol, Kampung Gudon Menggatal, and Kampung Lobou.
“As for Kota Belud, the locality that will be placed under EMCO is Kampung Menunggul,” he said in a statement today.
Other localities that will be placed under EMCO are Kampung Tengah Kinarut in Papar, Kampung Petagas in Putatan, Kampung Pogunon in Penampang, Kampung Timbua-Kembirol-Lobou Baru in Ranau and Kampung Batu 1 in Sipitang.
Meanwhile, Kampung Bukit Kukusan in Tawau, as well as Kampung Batu-Batu in Tenom, will also be placed under EMCO.
