Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries Take Oath of Commitment to a Corruption-Free Governance

KOTA KINABALU: The Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, officiated the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony involving Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries at Menara Kinabalu on Thursday.


The event commenced with the Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries reciting the IBR as a solemn commitment to bolster integrity and ensure accountable governance within the state administration.


Following the signing of the pledge by all attendees, the Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, and the Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Azrul Ibrahim, representing the Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries respectively, presented the signed IBR documents to Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah, Director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah branch.


Datuk Mohd Fuad, who observed the ceremony, delivered a special briefing on anti-corruption initiatives and the importance of fostering a culture of integrity within the public service.


Also present were Ms. Dayang Noorashikhin Zulkefli, Director of the Cabinet and Policy Division, Chief Minister’s Department, and Awang Samsul Baharam Bungso, the MACC Chief Senior Assistant Commissioner and the Chief Minister’s Integrity Advisor.
