BMBR Workshop Uncovers New Local Emcee Talents

KENINGAU: The Master of Ceremony (Emceeing) Workshop organised by the Bingkor Membangun Bersama Rakyat (BMBR) Secretariat successfully attracted more than 60 participants from diverse backgrounds during a session held yesterday at Ficus Hall, Taman Bandukan Riverside Resort.


Featuring professional emcee Stanley Leo, who has extensive experience in public speaking and hosting official events, the workshop provided participants with comprehensive exposure to the fundamentals and key techniques of emceeing various types of events, including government and community programmes.


The opening ceremony was officiated by Rafie Datuk Robert, Chairman of the Keningau Tourism and Culture Association, who emphasised in his speech that communication skills and self-confidence are essential traits for nurturing capable and charismatic young people.

Also present were Garrett Patrick, Chief Secretariat of BMBR; Zaki Zakaria, Chairman of the Keningau Cultural Association; and Mohammad Khairi Mabin, Chairman of the Keningau Community Movement Association (GERAK KENINGAU).


According to the organisers, the workshop served not only as a training platform but also as an avenue to build confidence and uncover new talents among local youth, in line with efforts to strengthen community participation in the development of Bingkor.
