Briefing and data collection at Tamu Desa Pongindopuan

KOTA BELUD: A briefing and registration development programme for vendors and small traders was held at Tamu Desa Pongindopuan, Kampung Rangalau, Kota Belud.
This programme was organised by the Department of Entrepreneurial Development, Cooperatives, and Small Traders (DATAPPK) with the aim of registering and collecting data on vendors and small traders operating in the area.
The event was also attended by the Community Development Officer (CDO) for Kadamaian Assemblymnan’s office, Juin Kolod, who delivered the opening speech.
In his address, Juin Kolod emphasised the importance of this programme in supporting local entrepreneurs and enhancing the income of small traders through official registration, which enables them to access various government assistance and opportunities.
Participants in the programme included vendors and small traders from around the Tamu Desa Pongindopuan area, who were briefed on the registration procedures and the benefits they could derive from this data collection system.
Additionally, they were given the opportunity to share their experiences and raise any issues they faced in running their businesses.
The programme received a positive response from the local community, which views it as an opportunity to enhance their economy through more systematic support and more effective government assistance.
