PENAMPANG: The handover of canvas, a contribution from Penampang Member of Parliament Datuk Ewon Benedick, facilitated through his Parliament Service Centre marked a significant effort to assist his constituents in the wake of a recent landslide. He was represented by one of his officers Belly Stephen.

This initiative was handed over to Michael Sipajon, the Head of Limbanak Voting area of United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) Penampang.

The aid was specifically intended to provide temporary coverage for the landslide area that had been inspected just the day before. This landslide had severely impacted the residence of a local resident in Kampung Kaanapan Sugud, highlighting the urgent need for immediate protective measures.

This initiative not only demonstrates the responsiveness of local leadership but also reflects the collective effort to ensure the safety and well-being of residents affected by natural disasters.
