Chief Minister Pays Tribute to Outgoing US Ambassador

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor received a farewell call from the United States Ambassador to Malaysia, Edgard D. Kagan, at his office in Menara Kinabalu on Thursday.

During the meeting, Hajiji expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Kagan’s dedicated service throughout his tenure in Malaysia, particularly his role in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting Sabah on the international stage.

“I would like to thank His Excellency Edgard for his valuable contributions and for the close cooperation established during his service in Malaysia, including his support in showcasing Sabah’s uniqueness and potential to the global community,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Kagan congratulated Hajiji on his reappointment as Chief Minister of Sabah, describing his leadership as vital to the state’s continued development and stability.
