CMCO: NEW OPERATION HOURS FOR NRD OFFICES IN TAWAU

TAWAU: The National Registration Department (NRD) in Tawau will be operating from 8 am to 1 pm every Monday to Friday during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period.

Sabah NRD director Khairrul Aminus Kamaruddin said the new operation hours were applicable for its offices in Semporna, Kunak, Lahad Datu, Tungku branch and Tawau Urban Transformation Centre (UTC).

“This is after taking into consideration the current COVID-19 situation in the areas,” he said in a statement today. Besides Tawau, he said the NRD office at the Keningau UTC would be operating from Tuesday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Clients are advised to postpone their business at NRD until the CMCO ends, unless they are urgent.
