KENINGAU: Amid the festivities of the Kaamatan Festival, a cornerstone of unity and cultural heritage for the people of Sabah, Datuk Robert Tawik’s commitment as the State Assemblyman for Bingkor continues to shine through with his financial contribution.
The contribution, made in support of the Kaamatan celebration at Kampung Antolob, was delivered by his representative.
On his behalf, Tuntumulud Sub-District Development Officer Fredoline Tad Herman Jack Abin handed over the contribution to the Chairman of the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Antolob, Bingkor, Iderend Abie.
Iderend expressed his gratitude to the Assemblyman, who also serves as the Assistant Minister of Public Works Sabah.
Iderend, who is also the Chairman of the village’s Kaamatan celebration organising committee, said Datuk Robert’s support is not merely financial, it reflects the care and concern of a leader who never forgets the pulse of his people, even in the most remote corners of the constituency.
“We truly appreciate this contribution. It’s not just for this event, but a testament that our leader remains close to us, never distant,” he said.
With anticipation for the upcoming State Election growing stronger, actions like these reinforce public confidence that leaders like Datuk Robert are not only visible when needed but have long been present through consistent and meaningful engagement.
