Cooperative Empowerment Programme to be held in Nahaba

KOTA BELUD: The Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) will be organising the Cooperative Empowerment Programme in Kg. Nahaba, Ulu Woriu Zone (NATESA), on October 26.

The programme will be officiated by the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Datuk Ewon Benedick.

According to SKM, this annual program aims to encourage cooperative participation among the community and has previously been implemented in Labuan and Semporna.

In preparation for the programme, SKM Sabah, led by Yasmeen Dawani, along with UPPM Kadamaian Saikom Watis, the Head of ADUN Kadamaian Carlye Lajimin, and JKKK Kampung Nahaba Deren Liging, conducted a site visit on Tuesday.

Various engaging activities have been planned throughout the programme, including the Madani Sale and briefings from agencies under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MADEC), such as SKM, the Malaysian Entrepreneurship Institute (IKMA), and Tekun Nasional.

In light of this, the public is invited to attend and participate in the event to learn more about the services provided by the ministry's agencies.
