COVID-19: FOUR DEATHS, 108 STILL BEING TREATED IN THE ICU

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded four more Covid-19 deaths today bringing the cumulative number of death cases in Malaysia to 167 cases.
Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said of the four victims, three were Malaysian aged between 73 to 80 years old, who died at Lahad Datu Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Duchess of Kent Hospital Sandakan.
“Meanwhile, a 47-year-old foreign national also died at Duchess of Kent Hospital. All patients had existing medical conditions," he stated.
Noor Hisham added that, to date, there are 108 positive cases of Covid-19 being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), of which 35 cases require respiratory assistance.
