KOTA KINABALU: Sabah registered a new Covid-19 cluster today, dubbed as the 'Jalan Sulaman' cluster.

Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Masidi Manjun said, the cluster has a cumulative total of 23 cases, including six new cases reported today.

"The index case of this cluster was a staff of a supermarket in Sulaman who tested positive through a screening of symptomatic individuals.

"A close contact screening had then been conducted and found 22 more individuals who tested positive," he said during a press conference, today.

Sabah recorded a total of 295 new Covid-19 cases and 419 recoveries today. One new Covid-19 death was also reported in Putatan.
