KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian media personality Chan Fong and singer-actor Henley Hii have been appointed as brand ambassadors for Eldon Healthcare, a prominent Malaysian health and wellness brand also known as ELDON. This appointment underscores the brand’s commitment to providing relatable, real-life health advocacy for modern Malaysians.
The announcement coincides with a significant milestone for ELDON, a consumer health and wellness division of the Pharm-D Health Science group, following recognition by the Malaysia Book of Records for one of its flagship products, ELDON DX MAGELAX, as the most magnesium glycinate capsules sold in Malaysia.
Launched in Malaysia in 2020, ELDON DX MAGELAX was among the earliest magnesium glycinate supplements registered with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA). At a time when awareness of magnesium’s benefits was still limited, ELDON played a pioneering role in familiarising consumers with magnesium glycinate, widely recognised today for its excellent absorption, gentle tolerability, and support for muscle relaxation, migraines, and sleep-related issues such as insomnia. This Malaysia Book of Records accolade not only reflects impressive sales performance but also highlights increasing accessibility and growing consumer trust.
According to Wong Chin Cheang, Group Managing Director of Pharm-D Health Science, the appointment of the brand ambassadors, alongside the Malaysia Book of Records recognition, marks a broader milestone in the group’s long-term journey.
“ELDON’s growth embodies our core values as a group: developing Malaysian health brands rooted in scientific research, scaling responsibly, and earning the trust of the public over time,” he explained. “Achievements like these are about more than just numbers; they represent consistency, credibility, and our commitment to addressing genuine community needs.”
Malaysian media personalities Chan Fong and Henley Hii are well-known figures with strong connections across lifestyle and entertainment circles. Relatable, busy, and active individuals, they were chosen for their alignment with ELDON’s brand philosophy, which promotes practical wellness habits—including prioritising quality rest, sleep, and a balanced lifestyle.
This partnership aligns with post-COVID trends, where three in four Malaysians now prioritise holistic health, as national conversations continue to emphasise prevention and healthier routines.
“This partnership feels personal because it’s based on real routines,” said Chan Fong. “Whether you’re working late, juggling responsibilities, or simply trying to keep up with life, your daily habits matter. I appreciate that ELDON’s approach is practical and grounded.”
Henley Hii added, “Many people think wellness has to look perfect, but most of us are just trying to be consistent. I’m excited about this long-term partnership because real habits take time, they’re about showing up repeatedly.”
