Ewon channels RM50,000 for St Paul Nagasiba development fund

PENAMPANG: Penampang Member of Parliament Datuk Ewon Benedick has channelled a contribution of RM50,000 to support the development fund for St Paul Nagasiba Church.

The contribution was handed over when he attended the Fund-Raising Golf Tournament organised by St Paul Penampang Parish together with the Penampang Countryside Golfers Club (PCGC) here today, aimed at raising funds for the church's development fund.

In addition, Ewon, who is also Chairman of KKIP, channelled RM10,000 to sponsor prizes for the golf competition.

He said such fundraising efforts reflect the community's spirit of cooperation in supporting the development of religious institutions.

“I appreciate the contributions channelled by the donors. May racial and religious harmony in Sabah continue to be nurtured together through initiatives like this,” he said.
