Ewon paid courtesy call on Johor Sultan

JOHOR BAHRU: Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Datuk Ewon Benedick, along with the senior management of Bank Rakyat, conducted a one-day working visit to Johor on Tuesday.
During the working visit, they paid a courtesy visit to Sultan Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, at Istana Pasir Pelangi.
They then inspected the progress of the construction of Bank Rakyat Tower at Coronation Square.
In the briefing, it was mentioned that the construction of the 35-storey Bank Rakyat Tower is almost fully completed this year.
Coronation Square, spanning an area of 2.3 hectares, is part of the Ibrahim International Business District (IIBD) Development Zone.
Prior to that, Ewon and the delegation were also briefed on the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link project. The RTS Link is a shuttle service spanning four kilometers between Woodlands North Station in Singapore and Bukit Chagar Station in Malaysia.
Also present were the Acting Chairman of Bank Rakyat, Datuk Mohd Irwan Mohd Mubarak, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bank Rakyat, Dr. Mohammad Hanis Osman, and the President/CEO of UDA, Datuk Sr Mohd Salem Kailany.
