KOTA KINABALU: BIGSABAH Sale 2025 is set to take over the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from 31 October to 2 November, transforming it into the region’s largest trade and consumer marketplace.

In just three years, the event has surged from a local showcase to a powerhouse ASEAN and Asia Pacific platform, bringing together more than 600 exhibitors across 23,000 square metres, the biggest event ever hosted at SICC.

With participants from nine countries and an expected 50,000 to 100,000 visitors, organisers are confident attendance will exceed projections, boosted by strategic partnerships and a diverse programme of activities.

Held under the theme “Across Markets, Beyond Borders”, BIGSABAH Sale aims to cement Sabah’s role as a gateway to the East ASEAN growth region.

BIGSABAH Sale Showcase: Level 2 will spotlight Gourmet, Décor & Home Living, while Level 4 will feature Fashion & Lifestyle, combining culinary excellence, home innovation, and international fashion trends.

BIGSABAH Trade Connect: A B2B platform linking SMEs with buyers, distributors, and importers through curated business meetings and networking sessions.

BIGSABAH TAMU: Inspired by Sabah’s traditional marketplace, this section highlights rural entrepreneurs, farmers, and artisans, connecting grassroots producers with wider consumer markets.

Pesta Makan Buah-Buahan Sabah: In collaboration with FAMA, this fruit festival celebrates Sabah’s rich agricultural diversity with seasonal favourites and rare varieties.

Sabah Agro-Fisheries Forum: A professional dialogue on food security, innovation, and cross-border collaboration in agro-fisheries.

Women in Business & Style: A showcase of women-led enterprises in retail, fashion, and creative industries, empowering women’s role in business and innovation.

This year’s fair welcomes strong participation not only from Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brunei, but also from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and India. Their presence in both Trade Connect and the Agro-Fisheries Forum underscores Sabah’s growing importance in regional trade and cultural exchange.

The event is organised by SICC with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah and Kota Kinabalu City Hall, alongside corporate sponsors including Sabah Credit Corporation, Sawit Kinabalu, and Lembaga Koko Malaysia. Official partners range from Malaysia Airlines and Firefly to IMAGO Shopping Mall and YONO E-Wallet, ensuring both international reach and strong local engagement.

Admission is free, with activities running daily from 10am to 10pm (BIGSABAH Sale) and 10am to 5pm (BIGSABAH TAMU). Visitors can expect three days filled with shopping, cultural experiences, culinary delights, and networking opportunities, making it a key highlight of Sabah’s annual calendar.
