Fire Leaves Kampung Rancangan Pamalan Resident Homeless, Community Rallies with Immediate Aid

KENINGAU : A fire recently destroyed the home of Abdul Hadi Abdullah, a resident of Kampung Rancangan Pamalan, leaving him without shelter and belongings.
The incident, which occurred suddenly, drew swift attention from local authorities and community leaders committed to offering immediate relief and support.
Abdul Hadi, who is now temporarily displaced, received a visit from representatives of the N.41 Liawan Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM), the Keningau Department of Social Welfare (JPKA), and Kampung Rancangan Pamalan JKKK chairman Yunus Mien.

The team carried out an immediate on-site assessment to determine the extent of the damage and the victim’s urgent needs.
In a gesture of solidarity, Community Development Leader (PPM) N.41 Liawan Fred Toyong and Community Development Officer Adzra Tan Sri RM Jasni delivered a personal donation on behalf of N.41 Liawan Assemblyman Datuk Annuar Ayub Aman.
“Such situations require not only rapid action but also compassion. We are here to stand by Abdul Hadi and help him recover,” said Fred Toyong during the visit.
The coordinated response is part of ongoing efforts to ensure victims of unforeseen disasters receive timely and meaningful assistance. The JPKA Keningau was also commended for their close cooperation in supporting the relief efforts.
Though much was lost in the fire, the spirit of community and care continues to shine through, offering Abdul Hadi some hope in the face of hardship.
