Fun Run Spurs Youth Empowerment and Unity

KENINGAU: The youths of Kampung Linsosod are set to benefit from a renewed sense of encouragement as preparations gear up for the Catholic Youth Apostolate Fun Run of St Dominic’s Church on 30 August.

The event, which recently received support from Liawan State Assemblyman Datuk Annuar Ayub Aman, is being hailed as a platform to inspire young people towards healthy living, unity, and the strengthening of spiritual values.

The contribution, presented on Annuar’s behalf by Linda Mausin, Administrative Assistant of the Liawan Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM) Office, was received by Beverley Unkos, a representative of the organising committee.

Organisers emphasised that initiatives such as this Fun Run help nurture youth potential, encouraging them to be active, community-minded and future-ready.

Annuar stressed that youth activities are the heartbeat of the nation’s future, and that positive initiatives must be supported regardless of cultural or religious background, as the strength of society is built upon unity at the grassroots level.
