KOTA KINABALU: Kiulu Assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai praised the headmasters of the Kiulu zone for their proactive efforts in creating a school dashboard. This initiative positions Kiulu as one of the first zones in Sabah to implement such a system.
“I am sure the school dashboard will help schools, parents, and the community stay connected and provide up to date information on student performance and school activities.
“This initiative will set a new standard for other areas in the Tuaran district to promote the use of digital tools in education,” said Joniston at the Majlis Apresiasi Sekolah-Sekolah Zon Kiulu Sesi Akademik 2024/2025 here, on Thursday.
Also present during the event were Tuaran District Education Officer Awang Seman Awang Tahir and Lucy Jimoh, the chairman of the Kiulu Zone Headmasters Council.
Joniston reiterated his commitment to maintaining regular communication with school headmasters in Kiulu to better understand and address their needs. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the existing strong rapport between the ADUN and local schools to foster effective collaboration in education.
“Teachers are community leaders. They should use their influence and experience to bring about positive changes for the betterment of villagers where their schools are located," said Joniston.
