Home Minister Distributes Aid to Flood-affected Staff and Families

KEPAYAN: Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail distributed cash aid and food supplies to 93 staff members of the Ministry who were affected by the recent devastating floods.
In addition, aid was provided to 20 families currently sheltered at a temporary evacuation centre (PPS) in Penampang. The presentation took place at the Sabah Police Headquarters in Kepayan last Friday.
The event was attended by various senior officials, including the Secretary-General of the Home Ministry, Datuk Awang Alik Jeman; the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Seri Christina Liew; and Sabah Deputy Police Commissioner, Datuk Abdul Rani Alias.
The occasion underscored the government’s commitment to supporting those impacted by the natural disaster, providing both immediate relief and demonstrating ongoing concern for affected community.
