Job opportunities in solar glass manufacturing plant

KOTA KINABALU: Qualified individuals are invited to apply for various vacancies at a solar glass manufacturing plant in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP).   


SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn Bhd Managing Director Wentao Ma said positions available are Human Resource Executives, Admin Executives, Logistic Executives, Purchasing Executives and Accountants Executives.


In the production positions available are SHO (Green book), Boilerman (Grade 1&2), Steam Engineer (Grade 1&2), Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Production Technician.


The company is currently seeking individuals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who are fluent in English and Malay, with proficiency in Chinese being preferred. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work at the company's manufacturing plant in KKIP.

Sabah Kibing Solar New Materials (Malaysia) Co. Ltd., also known as Sabah Kibing Solar, was established in January 2022. Situated in KKIP, Sabah, Malaysia, the company boasts a registered capital of 20 billion RMB, spanning an area of about 21 acres with a building area of 420,000 square meters.


With a total investment of 6.24 billion yuan, the company has constructed two 1200T/D ultra-clear patterned solar glass lines and one 1200T/D ultra-clear float solar glass line, along with a comprehensive deep processing production line.


Sabah Kibing Solar has an annual glass production capacity of approximately 1.1 million tonnes, equivalent to 220 million square meters, capable of meeting the production requirements for 23 GW of solar modules.
