KOTA KINABALU: National junior tennis player Koh Yuna has triumphed at the Malaysia Tennis Junior Tour Leg 4, winning both the Under-12 girls’ singles and doubles titles.

The tournament, held in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, from 6 to 10 August 2025, marked another milestone for the 11-year-old, whose commitment and discipline – supported by her coaches and parents – have borne fruit.

Koh, who first picked up a racquet at the age of eight, is also part of the national junior squad that secured third place at the ATF 12U South East Asia Team competition in Bangkok from 9 to 13 June this year.

She is now preparing to represent Malaysia at the ATF U12 Team Final in Singapore, where she will compete alongside the region’s top junior talents.

The tennis fraternity in Kota Kinabalu has extended its congratulations to Koh, her parents and coaches, while expressing confidence that she will continue her winning momentum at the international stage.
