Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu and Sheraton Kota Kinabalu Share Ramadan Blessings with Masjid Al-Aman Congregation Through Serve360 Initiative

KOTA KINABALU: In the spirit of Ramadan and community togetherness, Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu and Sheraton Kota Kinabalu jointly contributed 400 specially prepared traditional porridge packs to the congregation of Masjid Al-Aman at the Kota Kinabalu Waterfront, in support of the mosques moreh gathering following nightly terawih prayers.
The contribution comprised 200 packs of bubur lambuk, a traditional savoury spiced rice porridge often prepared and shared during Ramadan, and 200 packs of bubur kacang hijau, a comforting sweet mung bean porridge cherished across Malaysian communities.
These items were thoughtfully prepared by the hotels culinary teams and distributed to worshippers as part of the communal moreha light meal enjoyed after evening prayers.
The initiative was led by Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu General Manager, Suresh Ramasamy, and Sheraton Kota Kinabalu General Manager, Nauman Hasan, alongside associates from both hotels.
The meaningful contribution reflects Marriott Internationals ongoing commitment to community engagement through its global sustainability and social impact platform, Serve360: Doing Good in Every Direction.
