LMKK Shares Ramadan Blessings with Tuaran Youths

KOTA KINABALU: Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu marked the holy month of Ramadan by hosting a meaningful iftar for 30 residents from Home Tuaran, reaffirming the hotel’s commitment to community engagement under ’s global sustainability and social impact platform, Serve360: Doing Good in Every Direction.

Home Tuaran is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing care, shelter and developmental support for underprivileged and at-risk youths in Sabah. The home currently supports teenagers aged between 12 and 19, offering a safe and nurturing environment while equipping them with essential life skills, educational support and emotional guidance to help shape their futures.

The special iftar was held at the hotel’s signature restaurant, where the youths were treated to a festive Ramadan buffet in a warm and welcoming setting. Hotel associates were present to engage personally with the residents, creating a memorable evening centred on compassion, dignity and meaningful connection.

The initiative reflects Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu’s ongoing efforts to uplift and empower the local community, in line with Serve360’s core priority of “Nurturing Our World”, which focuses on supporting vulnerable communities and creating positive, lasting social impact.
