Marsha Milan Crowned Champion at AJL 39 with 'Hening Rindu'

KUALA LUMPUR: The prestigious Anugerah Juara Lagu 39 (AJL 39) culminated in a spectacular finale at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, last night, with Hening Rindu by Marsha Milan emerging as the grand winner.

Hening Rindu, composed by Ikhwan Fatanna and Wan Saleh, with lyrics by Ikhwan Fatanna, secured the coveted title, earning Marsha a trophy and a cash prize of RM100,000.

The runner-up spot was claimed by Bukan Lagi Kita, performed by Nadeera Zaini. The song, composed by Hael Husaini and Iqie Hugh, garnered a trophy and RM50,000 in prize money.

Meanwhile, Saksama, performed by Akim & The Majistret and composed by the band alongside lyricist Bunga Cantik, took third place, receiving RM30,000 along with a trophy.

In addition to the main awards, Ernie Zakri won the Best Vocal Performance award for her rendition of Aura, taking home RM12,000 and a trophy.

The Best Performance category, which factored in audience votes, was won by Aina Abdul for her compelling performance of Puas Sudah, earning her RM12,000.

The winners were selected by a panel of esteemed judges, including Datuk Ahmad Izham Omar, Datuk Hattan, Datuk Fauziah Nawi, Fauziah Latif, Ad Samad, LY, Edrie Hashim, Siti Hajar, and head judge Edry Abdul Halim.
