KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is set to receive international attention as Mrs Julia Morley CBE, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Miss World Organisation, and Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata lead the Beauty With a Purpose Tour in Sabah 2026, a humanitarian and community outreach mission taking place from 4 to 10 February 2026.

One of the key highlights of the visit is a Beauty With a Purpose charity programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pendidikan Khas (SKPK) Kota Kinabalu in Tuaran, scheduled for Wednesday, 5 February 2026 at 1.00 pm.

The visit aims to support and uplift children with special needs, their families and dedicated educators.

The delegation is led by Mrs Morley and includes Dr Sean Wong BBM, Chief Executive Officer of HyperLive Entertainment and Franchise Owner of Miss World Malaysia, Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata, and Miss World Malaysia 2025 Taanusiya Chetty.

The Beauty With a Purpose Tour in Sabah is described as a purpose-driven mission rather than a ceremonial visit, combining charitable outreach, community empowerment and international tourism promotion.

Leveraging the global reach of the Miss World platform, the initiative seeks to position Sabah as a destination defined not only by its natural beauty and cultural richness, but also by compassion and social responsibility.

Throughout the tour, the delegation will participate in a series of community-focused initiatives, including visits to special needs schools, collaborations with the Sabah Autism Society, outreach at Likas Hospital to support children undergoing cancer treatment, engagement with rural and underprivileged communities, and tourism and cultural showcases highlighting Sabah’s heritage and landscapes.

These initiatives reflect the core values of Beauty With a Purpose, which promotes the belief that influence and visibility should be used to uplift lives and inspire positive change.

Speaking on the initiative, Dr Sean Wong said Sabah deserved global recognition not only for its beauty, but also for its humanity.

“Beauty With a Purpose is not just a programme; it is a commitment. Sabah is a place of extraordinary people, cultures and natural wonders. By bringing Mrs Julia Morley and Miss World to Sabah, we hope to inspire a collective movement where compassion, collaboration and purpose come together to create meaningful change for communities that need it most,” he said.

Dr Wong also expressed his appreciation to DH Life Champions, Sunstrong Entertainment, and supporting partners and sponsors for their role in making the mission possible.

The visit to SKPK Kota Kinabalu in Tuaran holds particular significance, as it aims to encourage and inspire educators and caregivers, bring joy and confidence to children with special needs and their families, and raise public awareness about inclusivity and the importance of special needs education.

Beyond its humanitarian objectives, the tour also serves as a powerful platform to promote Sabah on the global stage.

Content from the visit will be shared across international Miss World platforms, reaching millions of followers worldwide and positioning Sabah as a destination rich in natural beauty, cultural heritage and meaningful tourism experiences.
