MP Sipitang Celebrates Christmas Open House, Strengthening Community Bonds

SIPITANG: The show of solidarity and friendship among the people here was underscored when Datuk Matbali Musah, the Sipitang Member of Parliament, and his wife attended a Christmas Open House hosted by Liaw Sin Kuang, the Chief Minister's Press Secretary, at his residence in Kampung Perpindahan, Sipitang, on Wednesday.


The gathering was also attended by several notables including Datuk Mohd Nazri Abdullah, Chairman of the Sabah Farmers' Organisation (PPN) (fourth from left); Lahirul Latigu, Chairman of the National Trust Party (AMANAH) Sabah; Mr. Hashim Diris, a member of the Sipitang Municipal Council (seated, second from right); Lee Chun Kuang (right); and Sani Miasin, President of the Sipitang District Hawkers and Small Traders Association.


During the event, Matbali highlighted the importance of such festive occasions in building rapport and fostering friendships within the community. He expressed that his attendance at the Christmas celebration in the Sindumin and Lumadan State Assembly constituencies serves not only to promote unity but also to strengthen the bonds between leaders and the people they serve.


His statement encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of togetherness during this joyful season, reinforcing the values of camaraderie and mutual support among the people.
