SANDAKAN: The newly appointed Chairman of the Panel Penasihat Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan, Chong Thien Ming, together with several committee members, paid a courtesy visit to Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan and presented mandarin oranges in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration.
The mandarin oranges were received by Dr Suhashini, the officer in charge of Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan. Chong said the gesture was a modest token of appreciation from the advisory panel to recognise the dedication and hard work of the clinic’s staff, particularly during the festive season.
“As the newly appointed chairman, I will do my utmost to work closely and cooperatively with Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan for the benefit of the community,” he said.
Chong also highlighted that Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan was honoured as the Best Klinik Kesihatan in Sabah in 2024, a recognition that reflects the professionalism, commitment and consistent efforts of its healthcare personnel.
Looking ahead, he said the advisory panel plans to organise a series of programmes throughout the year, with a focus on the well-being of infants, adolescents and senior citizens.
He expressed hope that these initiatives would bring meaningful benefits to the community, while also enabling more timely dissemination of health-related information to the people of Sandakan.
The visit underscored the panel’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with local healthcare providers in support of community health and well-being.
