Public Encouraged to Become Strategic Partners in Sabah’s Development

KENINGAU: The Chairman of the Bingkor Community Welfare Association, Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik @ Charles, has expressed his full support for the statement by the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, who emphasised the importance of strong public support and the role of the people as strategic partners of the State Government in realising Sabah’s overall development agenda.

He said that the Chief Minister’s leadership, which is consistent, inclusive and firmly centred on the interests of the people, forms the main foundation for political stability and development progress in the state, thereby strengthening public confidence in the direction of the State Government’s administration.

According to him, Hajiji is a magnanimous leader who carries out his responsibilities with sincerity, and who consistently remains close to the people, whether in times of challenge or in efforts to build a more sustainable and prosperous future for Sabah.

“Sabah and its people are truly fortunate to have a Chief Minister who not only possesses a clear and focused development vision, but who also continuously opens up space for cooperation between the government and the people, regardless of race, religion or cultural background,” he said in a statement today.

In this regard, Yazid called on all Sabahans to respond to the Chief Minister’s aspirations and hopes by providing continued support and by playing an active role as partners of the State Government in advancing the economic, social and public well-being development agenda.

He expressed confidence that through a spirit of unity, close cooperation and mutual trust between the people and the state leadership, Sabah will continue to move forward as a peaceful, prosperous and harmonious state, for the well-being of both present and future generations.
