SANDAKAN: A group of 23 pupils, joined by 10 accompanying teachers, participated in an educational visit to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre.
The programme also included 10 committee members (AJK) and two officers.
The initiative seeks to equip pupils with literacy and numeracy skills, aligning with the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) priorities.

Hands-on observation allowed students to spot the sun bears' unique traits, such as individual chest markings.
Activities wove in literacy and numeracy by exploring the bears' height—around 150 cm—and identifying local wildlife.
Tailored teaching methods addressed diverse learning needs.

Pupil discussions further sharpened communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Deputy District Education Officer for Learning, Suhaimi Othman, commented, “Programmes like this not only spark pupils' interest in learning but also bolster literacy and numeracy mastery, matching today's educational goals.”
Organisers hope it fosters meaningful learning and holistic basic skills development.

I installed this game just to check how it is and didn’t expect much from it. In the beginning I didn’t understand anything and almost stopped playing. After spending some time, it became easier to understand. Now I play it sometimes when I feel bored. It works smoothly on my phone with no lag. I don’t play daily. It’s not very exciting, but still okay for casual use and short time playing.
