ROAD COLLAPSES AT JALAN PENAMPANG-TAMBUNAN

KOTA KINABALU: Road users of Jalan Penampang-Tambunan are advised to be extra careful due to a road collapse that occurred at the stretch.
According to a road user who was there around 9am just now and that the road was still passable at that time.
"It wasn't this bad this morning, and thankfully we were still able to pass (the road)," she told Nabalu News.
Users of the road have expressed hope for prompt action by the Public Work Department (JKR) for the road repair.
In a statement today, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of bad weather and heavy rain in several areas in Sabah and Sarawak until Monday (tomorrow).
According to the statement, areas that will be affected include the interiors of Sabah, Sandakan and Kudat.
A similar warning was also issued to the Federal Territory of Labuan.
