PENAMPANG: The condition of the road at Kg Botung Kandazon and Kg Duvanson is a significant concern for road users due to its poor state.

Residents have been eagerly awaiting its completion, as they rely on this road daily for various activities, including commuting to work and picking up children from school. However, the road's unfavorable condition has prompted users to voice their concerns about its safety.

Several residents have reported that the road was supposed to be completed by now, yet it remains unfinished. They are uncertain about the progress made by the contractor, and the current state of the road poses serious dangers. Users have experienced vehicle damage, including burst tires and skidding incidents during heavy rain, which have nearly resulted in fatalities.

"While one might attribute some issues to user negligence, the road should not have been neglected for so long without serious attention from the contractor and responsible parties. How long will this situation persist? Do we really have to wait for a fatal accident before this matter is taken seriously?" expressed one concerned villager.

Residents and road users are urgently calling on the responsible parties to address this issue before any more undesirable incidents occur.

“Many drivers have experienced breakdowns due to this road. Numerous individuals have approached me to express their complaints, urging me to raise this issue. Just yesterday, I encountered a problem myself—I ripped my car tire,” shared road user Billy Jinawat.
