Sabah FCAS Celebrates Pesta Ang Pao 2026 with Traditional Yee Sang Ceremony

KOTA KINABALU: Former Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Seri Christina Liew, participated in the traditional Yee Sang for prosperity during the Pesta Ang Pao FCAS 2026 held at Sabah Hakka Hall on Saturday evening. She was joined by prominent community leaders and dignitaries at the celebration organised by the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS).


Among those present were Datin Chong Mi Yin, wife of FCAS Life Honorary President Datuk Jimmy Yong, and her Political Secretary, Datuk Vivien Lee. Also in attendance were Miss Yee Tsai Yiew, Special Officer to the Chief Minister; Datuk Lucy Yong, wife of Assistant Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai; Puan Sri Joanne Ho, wife of FCAS President Tan Sri T.C. Goh; and Datin Mary Wong, wife of Honorary Adviser Datuk Edward Yong.


The event was officiated by the Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Joachim Gunsalam, who represented the Guest of Honour, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor. The celebration aimed to strengthen community bonds and uphold cultural traditions within the local Chinese community.
