Sabah Head Of State Arrives in Cairo for Official Visit

CAIRO: Sabah Head of State Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr.) Musa Haji Aman, and his wife, Toh Puan Faridah Haji Tussin, arrived safely in Cairo late on Saturday for a four-day official visit.

The visit coincides with the Mahabbah Gathering with Sabah students in Egypt, which involves nearly 350 students, as well as the official opening of Dewan Al-Imam Al-Tayeb at the International Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Academy.

Upon arrival, Tun Musa and the delegation were warmly received by Dato’ Mohd Tarid Sufian, the Malaysian Ambassador to Egypt, alongside officials from the Malaysian Embassy.

Tun Musa expressed hope that the visit would be fruitful, provide meaningful benefits for Sabah students pursuing their studies in Egypt, and further strengthen cooperation and ties between Sabah and its counterparts in Egypt.
