SICC Sabah Day Celebration a success

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Day Celebration at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) was a roaring success with the presence of about 3,000 people.
The revellers most of whom dropped by after the Sabah Day parade went there to sample the food prepared by SICC for the lunch crowd.
The food, reminiscent of Sabah traditional food was well received with diners praising it's taste.
Datuk Rosmawati Lasuki, SICC Chief Executive Officer said they had obtained the food items from local source to ensure their freshness.
On the celebration, she said it was an auspicious occasion, with great significance to the people of Sabah.
She also expressed her thanks to the Minister of Tourism Culture and Environment Datuk Christina Liew for dropping by and joining the lunch.
They later celebrated individuals who were born on August 31 and September 16.
