KOTA KINABALU: The Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (DUN), Datuk Seri Panglima Kadzim M. Yahya, received a courtesy call from the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malaysia, . Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, at his office at the State Legislative Assembly Building, Teluk Likas, here last Friday.


During the meeting, Haji Kadzim expressed his appreciation for the High Commissioner’s willingness to pay a courtesy visit to the Sabah State Legislative Assembly, and reaffirmed the state legislative institution’s commitment to supporting efforts to strengthen international friendship and cooperation.


He also emphasised the role of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly as a vital democratic institution in the state’s development, while highlighting opportunities for collaboration that could bring mutual benefits, in line with the aspirations of the Sabah State Government.


Also present at the courtesy visit were the Deputy Speakers of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly, Datuk Richard Yong We Kong and Datuk Haji Al Hambra Tun Juhar.
