Special Bed Contribution for Stroke Patient in Kg. Mandalipau

PAPAR: A stroke patient in Kampung Mandalipau received a much-needed boost yesterday, thanks to the donation of a special hospital bed by the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) and its partners.

UPKO Supreme Council Member, Marcellus Tambud, who was moved by the condition of Peter, a local resident battling severe health complications following a stroke, personally led the handover of the bed. He was accompanied by fellow UPKO members Pinsol, Mickey, and Jude.

“I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my UPKO colleagues who continue to demonstrate compassion and commitment in supporting those in need,” said Marcellus during the handover.

The contribution was made possible through a collaborative effort with Yayasan Bank Rakyat, whose support played a crucial role in realising the initiative. UPKO extended its sincere thanks to the foundation for their generous donation and concern for the wellbeing of the local community.

“We hope this small gesture will bring some comfort and relief to Peter and his family in their day-to-day life,” Marcellus added.

The initiative reflects UPKO’s ongoing dedication to community welfare and its continued mission to serve the people with compassion and purpose.
