STA to Host Blood Donation Drive

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Tourism Association (STA), in collaboration with Hospital Queen Elizabeth II, is set to host a Blood Donation Campaign on Sunday, 24 August 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at M2 Kitchen, located next to the Penampang Police Station.

Held under the theme “Give Blood, Save Lives!”, the event aims to raise public awareness on the importance of blood donation, with each contribution potentially saving up to three lives.

Adding value to the initiative, Lions Club Penampang will be providing free on-site health screenings for all attendees.

"As a gesture of appreciation, successful donors will receive a goodies bag, while stocks last,” said the organisers, encouraging the public to attend with friends and family. “Every drop counts.”

The venue is sponsored by M2 Kitchen, and the organisers expect a strong turnout from the community.
