KOTA KINABALU: The State Government stands firmly for equity and impartiality, providing unwavering support to all irrespective of their race and religion.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor said, "Our ongoing commitment to fostering non-religious educational and organisational support remains steadfast, promoting unity, harmony, and religious tolerance."

He said this at the Walk for Jesus-Hope 2025 programme organised by the Sabah Council of Churches, local inter-church groups, and the Prison Fellowship Sabah Association (PFSA) at Padang Merdeka here today.

His speech was delivered by Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Abidin

Madingkir.

He congratulated the organisers for successfully organising this biannual event, which

he said was a testament to the cohesive spirit within the Christian community in Kota

Kinabalu and beyond.

"The simultaneous Walk for Jesus across 26 towns in Sabah truly exemplifies the unity

in prayer and purpose," he said.

The Chief Minister said this profound journey served as a testament to devout Christians,

affirming God's unwavering presence and His influence in their lives.

"Walking in divine harmony is both a physically and spiritually uplifting experience, embodying the strength of collective support and transcending our physical limitations."

"I hope this event brings blessings to the people of Sabah, as all of you traverse towns with prayers and garnering support for the underprivileged."

"Your noble intent truly symbolises the Church's all-encompassing compassion, transcending race, faith and belief. Such initiatives will certainly inspire trust, unity, and goodwill within our community," he said.
