Support the Government to ensure stability

KENINGAU: The Bingkor Community Welfare Association has called on the people of Sabah to wholeheartedly support the new government led by the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, following the formation of the Cabinet under the Sabah Unity Government. This move is seen as a vital step towards maintaining stability and ensuring the successful realisation of Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0’s vision.

Its chairman, Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik @ Charles, emphasised that the newly formed government deserves the trust and backing of the rakyat to effectively serve Sabah’s interests. He urged the people to give the administration space to work without interference from political manoeuvring that could hinder progress. He highlighted that this cabinet is not just a reshuffle but a clear indication that Sabah needs a stable, well-organised, and decision-focused administration to move forward.

“The rakyat must stand behind a government that is firm, transparent, and courageous in defending Sabah’s interests. This cabinet sends a strong message that the administration is serious and committed to delivering results,” he said.

Yazid stressed that every minister must uphold high standards of discipline and prioritise the needs of the people. “Those entrusted with ministerial roles must demonstrate their ability to deliver. The rakyat support swift decisions, clear policies, and tangible actions that improve their daily lives,” he added.

He appealed to the rakyat to support Hajiji’s leadership, recognising his patience and firmness in managing state affairs as key to bridging political divides and maintaining stability. “Support for Hajiji and his team is crucial; their leadership provides the stability Sabah needs to progress,” he said.

Yazid called on the community to unite behind the government’s efforts, emphasising that the challenges faced by rural communities, including Bingkor, require collective support and trust in the leadership. “This is a time for solidarity. The rakyat’s backing is vital for realising Sabah’s aspirations,” he stated.

He further urged the government to focus on public welfare, rural development, and economic opportunities, especially for the youth, and expressed confidence that the administration’s commitment to these issues will bring positive change. The Bingkor Community Welfare Association reaffirmed its support for the government’s programmes, pledging to be a strategic partner in social and welfare development.

Yazid reminded everyone that the cabinet is more than just a list of names; it represents a great trust from the rakyat to build a brighter future for Sabah. “The rakyat are watching and supporting this team. With unity, dedication, and honest effort, we can achieve Sabah’s vision. Now is the time for us to stand behind our government and work together for a better Sabah,” he concluded.
