The public invited to join in the Putatan Ethnic Festival 2024

PUTATAN: The Putatan Ethnic Festival 2024 will be held in that township from September 6 to 8.

This inaugural event will be officiated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah III, Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya, who is also in Member of Parliament for Putatan and the State Assembly Member (DUN) for Tanjung Keramat.

Residents in and around the area are invited to join in the festival. Highlights of the programme include the Magagung & Betitik Competition, Ethnic Cooking Competition, Gambus Competition, children's coloring competition, and ethnic gallery exhibitions with sales stalls.

Additionally, the Battle of Gambus, which will be held on September 8, will feature an exciting reception as part of the festival, where interested participants can register for free.

The Putatan Ethnic Festival 2024, organised by the Tanjung Keramat Putatan Recreation Association and the Putatan District Office, will take place at the Golden Centre Putatan area.
