Three-Day ‘Little Hong Kong Food Festival’ to Bring Flavours and Culture to Sandakan

SANDAKAN: The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Sandakan will host the Little Hong Kong Food Festival from 17 to 19 October (Friday to Sunday) at the open grounds of Tiong Hua Building, Tiong Hua Secondary School.


The three-day festival promises a vibrant celebration of food, culture, and community, featuring a wide selection of local delicacies and handicraft stalls for visitors to explore.


Operating hours are from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.


In addition to the culinary offerings, festivalgoers can look forward to the Sandakan State-Level Southern Lion Dance (Gao Zhuang) Competition, a children’s handicraft workshop, and a line-up of cultural performances held each evening, ensuring an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Admission is free.
