KUALA LUMPUR: The University of Cyberjaya (UoC) has clinched the Gold Award in the Education and Learning category at the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2025, marking its third consecutive year of recognition at the national brand awards and the peak of a steady upward trajectory.
The latest achievement reflects strong and growing public confidence in UoC’s education brand, following a Bronze award in its first year of participation and a Silver win in 2024.
Established in 2022, the Putra Aria Brand Awards recognise brands that demonstrate effective branding and marketing strategies, sustained growth in consumer preference, and strong public relevance.
Winners are determined through large-scale voluntary consumer voting and surveys, typically involving tens of thousands of respondents who assess brand familiarity, experience and likelihood of recommendation.
UoC’s Gold recognition underscores the University’s continued commitment to delivering relevant, high-quality education and a positive student experience. Its programmes are aligned with industry needs and evolving professional pathways, reflecting an approach rooted in academic excellence, practical relevance and meaningful engagement with students, partners and the wider community.
Commenting on the achievement, University of Cyberjaya Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, Professor Dr David Whitford, said the recognition was a testament to the trust placed in the institution by the public.
“This recognition matters deeply to us because it reflects the confidence and trust of the public, as well as the collective efforts of our students, alumni, staff and partners who shape what we do every day,” he said.
“Achieving Gold at the Putra Aria Brand Awards, building on recognition in previous years, affirms that our focus on relevant, high-quality education and a positive student experience is being felt. It strengthens our resolve to continue raising standards and preparing graduates who can contribute thoughtfully and meaningfully to society.”
UoC previously received a Silver award in 2023 and a Bronze award in 2022 in the same category, highlighting consistent brand momentum and increasing resonance among Malaysian consumers.
As a complementary platform to the long-established Putra Brand Awards, the Putra Aria Brand Awards were introduced to recognise emerging, growing and rebranded organisations that demonstrate strong potential and meaningful connections with consumers across various sectors.
Looking ahead, the University of Cyberjaya remains focused on strengthening its academic offerings, enhancing student outcomes and building long-term trust through education that is relevant, accessible and impactful.
