KOTA KINABALU: The Jelajah Sabah First event was held last night at the Taman Sempelang Futsal Court, drawing a strong turnout of (UPKO) leaders and supporters.
The programme, which ran from 7pm to 11 pm, featured appearances by UPKO President Datuk Datuk Ewon, Jason Lee UPKO Candidate for Petagas , Captain Chazy and Dennison R Indang UPKO Candidate for Tanjung Aru, and Datuk Marcus Mojigoh UPKO Division Chief of Putatan as well as Alison Chan a youth member .
A 300-strong crowd attended despite the rain. The gathering formed part of the ongoing Sabah First campaign, which seeks to engage grassroots communities and strengthen support ahead of the upcoming 29 November polls.

There are 1.7 million registered voters across 73 state constituencies, 25 of which are being contested by UPKO candidates.
Tanjung Aru covers Tanjung Aru Lama, Tanjung Aru Baru, Sembulan, and Pulau Gaya.
There are over 21,000 voters, a diverse community united by common issues and common hopes: safety, opportunities, and a better future for children.
Public interest remains high as party supporters prepare for what could be described as a pivotal election for Sabah’s future.
