12 CMCO FLOUTERS COMPOUNDED IN DAMAI PLAZA

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 12 people were compounded for flouting the conditional movement control order (CMCO) for not practising social distancing at a restaurant here in Damai Plaza, Luyang, Tuesday night.


In his statement today, Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji said all individuals including the premise staff were compounded in a Covid-19 Ops, at about 11.00 pm.



"A raid was conducted in an OP Covid-19 (PKPB) from the Criminal Investigation Division of IPD Kota Kinabalu yesterday at Damai Plaza Luyang.


"Upon arriving at the location, the police have conducted an inspection and found out that 12 people including the premise staff allowed his customers to eat and drink in the premises without practicing social distancing during the CMCO period," he said.


All of them committed offenses under the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Regulations.
